As Steve's friends and family, we will gather to celebrate all of the wonderful times and experiences we were lucky enough to share with him. The celebration will be held from 2pm to 5pm at VFW Post 2503 (89th & Military). This page will be updated with any changes or new details.

Schedule:

• 2pm to 3pm - Pre-Game (informal time for talking to, and sharing memories with, friends)

• 3pm to 5pm - Stories of Steve (four quarters of stories from Steve's friends and family about their favorite memories with Steve)

• 5pm to 6pm - Post-Game (Cleanup (optional 😉))

Overview:

Steve was an amazing, unique, quirky, and fun guy. He had a knack for bringing people together, for having fun, and for entertaining experiences. To celebrate his life, we're going to ask Steve's friends and family members to think about some of their favorite stories and adventures with him, and to share those stories with the group to let everyone else experience a little more of the magic that Steve brought into our lives.

Streaming/Recording:

We're planning to record and stream the service for those who are unable to attend in person. We know that travel is challenging, and Covid is (once again) a rising and serious concern. We'll get the service recorded and made available online and we'll try to stream it live if we can.

Dress Code:

Black ties discouraged. Blackshirts encouraged! This is a celebration of life and Steve loved sports; feel free to wear your sports jerseys or favorite team's shirt!

We have a shared Photo Album for pictures (and videos!) of Steve that anyone can view and contribute to. If you have any pictures or videos of Steve, please add them to the album!

Google Photos Tip: Go to Explore or Search and you'll see a list of people there. Find Steve's picture and Google Photos will use their AI facial recognition to find all pictures with Steve in them. You can then select them all and add them to the Album!
